Terms & Conditions
To confirm your wedding date you must fill out your details and sign our terms and conditions below.
1. Booking, Prices & Payment
• Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 14 days. If we receive another request for this date we would ask you to put down your deposit to confirm the date.
• To confirm the date a non refundable deposit of £300 is required.
• 6 months prior to your wedding a further £500 is due towards your estimated account.
• 4 weeks prior to your wedding 50% of estimated account is due which includes room hire, food, drinks, accommodation and any other items arranged on your behalf by the hotel.
• The final balance is due a minimum 14 days prior to your wedding. Final meal numbers are also required at this time. No changes can be made to your account after this time.
• You must notify the hotel of any changes you wish to make to your details a minimum of 14 days prior to your wedding otherwise the previous details given to the hotel will be used to calculate your estimated account.
• Prices are reviewed annually and prices will be charged as published for the year of the wedding not the year the wedding is booked unless agreed with the hotel otherwise. On this occasion Angela has agreed to keep the prices the same as the 2010 prices.
2. Cancellation
Cancellation by you
In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply, this extends to room hire, food, drinks, accommodation and any other items arranged, on your behalf, by the Hotel (eg: Piper, Florist, etc):
• Cancellations received 6 to 9 months prior to the date – 50% of the total estimated value
• Cancellations received 3 to 6 months prior to the date – 75% of the total estimated value
• Cancellations received within 3 months – 100% of the total estimated value

Please note the hotel reserves the right to cancel your booking if you fail to meet the agreed payment dates. In this event the above cancellation terms would apply.
3. Insurance
The hotel would advise the purchase of wedding insurance. Please note that any contract of insurance would have to be made by you directly with an insurance company.
4. Entertainment
A band/entertainer of your choice may be booked, subject to agreement with the Hotel. The Hotel must be advised in advance if you intend to provide your own DJ, Band, Piper, Harpist, String Quartet, Vocalists, Magicians etc.
5. Damage
You, the Client, are responsible to the Number 10 Hotel for any damage caused by you, your guests, employees, agents, etc by any wilful act, default or negligence, including overnight bed and breakfast guests attending your function.
6. Self Catering
We do not permit self catering and a menu must be chosen to hire the function suite for the full day. If this is an evening reception only a buffet menu must be chosen.
7. My Details
It is your responsibility to ensure the hotel has the correct details for your wedding. The details we have sent to you are what we have discussed with you however if there are any changes you must submit these in writing to the hotel. If we do not receive further changes of the above details then we will take these as the confirmed details 14 days before your wedding and the final balance will be due.
